Quick fried banana breakfast (Kewra-flavored)

This here is a quick way to make a lovely fried banana breakfast or treat with a little rum, Kewra blossom water (or rosewater, or orange blossom water or whatever perfuming dessert flavoring of the kind you have), yogurt and almond flakes. It'll be ready in no-time and greatly flavored.
I personally love the Kewra blossom water (it's usually used in Indian desserts such as barfi) :)

Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 3 bananas
  • 2 tablespoons white rum
  • 1 teaspoon Kewra blossom water
  • 200 ml yogurt, plain
  • 3-4 tablespoons almond flakes
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey

Peel the bananas and slice them:

Heat the teaspoon of butter into a small frying pan:

Add the banana slices and wait for them to get golden (5-6 minutes). Meanwhile, prepare the rest of the stuff:

When the bananas are golden on all sides, add the rum, Kewra blossom water and honey. Stir for 2 more minutes for the alcohol to wear off and the flavors to infuse:

Transfer to a plate and top with the yogurt and almond flakes. Dig in! :)
