Clam and herb pizza

After seeing this idea here, suddenly a clam pizza with herbs seemed like an interesting dinner, especially if you're into seafood. I gave it a try (adapting the recipe a bit, like adding a touch of curry) and didn't regret it. Easy to put together and delicious to eat. Enjoy :)

Last year: Tamarillo and red wine rice pudding.
Two years ago: nothing
Three years ago: nothing
Four years ago: nothing
Five years ago: Lemon and condensed milk cream tart.
Six years ago: Authentic carbonara (Italian).
Seven years ago: Tuna and clementine creamy spread.
Eight years ago: "Lapte de pasăre" (Romanian "bird's milk" dessert, my mom's recipe)

Ingredients:
  • one portion of our puffy and thin pizza crust
  • 6 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 50 g clam meat (pre-boiled, from the can)
  • a few sprigs of fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic red vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red curry paste (like tandoori or some other tamarind-based paste), optional
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven at 200 degreees C. Spread the pizza base (you can use your own kind of recipe or pre-made dough).

In a bowl, mix the clams or mussels with the tomato sauce.

Chop up the parsley and add it to the bowl, along the rest of the ingredients (lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, curry paste, salt and pepper):

Mix well and spread it on the pizza base.

Put it in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Take out, slice and dig in! :)
