Yuanyang (Hong Kong-style Coffee with Sweetened Milk Tea) (Chinese)

This is what happens when you mix black tea with coffee. And condensed milk. And sugar. And it's strong and sweet and great. :)
Recipe source: About.com and Saveur.

Last year: Saganaki (Greek fried cheese).
Two years ago: Goat cheese, lemon scallions and walnut tart.
Three years ago: Banana American pancakes with agave syrup and almonds.
Four years ago: Baby making and no cooking :).

Ingredients (for 2 small cups or 4 large cups):
  • 4 small black tea bags
  • 1 small can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 500 ml (2 cups) strong brewed coffee

Simmer a cup of water and the tea bags over medium heat for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat, squeeeze out the tea bags and discard. Stir in the milk and bring to a boil. Keep boiling for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir int the coffee. Pour into glasses.
It's done, enjoy.
