Goat Feta bits in pesto and walnut crust

This is an easy way to serve feta cheese, especially the delicious goat feta, in a pretty-looking and very flavorful nibble platter. The feta cubes are dredged through green pesto (basil pesto) and crushed walnuts, and then topped with some more fresh walnuts. The combination is divine :).

Last year: Chili cheese nachos (Nachos con queso) (Mexican).
Two years ago: Fruit chaat (Indian fruit salad) (raw vegan).
Three years ago: Baby making and no cooking :).

Ingredients (for a small plate, serves a few):
  • 150 g goat's milk feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons basil pesto
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons crushed walnuts

Cut the cheese into cubes, as equal as you can. Prepare the pesto (from the jar or home-made, if you have the time) and crush the walnuts lightly with the side of the knife blade.

Next, just dredge the feta cubes through pesto and crushed walnuts and arrange them on the serving plate. At the end, gather the remaining crushed walnuts and sprinkle them on top of the appetizers. It's done, dig in!
