Turkey bites in Brie and walnut sauce with grapes

We're great fans of the combination between Brie cheese, walnuts and grapes. We have it just like that, simply out of the bags, at least once a week, in the evenings when we're not in the mood to cook. And since these ingredients go together so well, I decided to make a sauce out of them to accompany little morsels of juicy-crispy turkey breast. The result was great. :) Enjoy.

Last year: Spaghetti with sesame oil, shiitake and chicken, Gnocchi with thyme-butter sauce and browned cauliflower, Red wine baby shrimps with olive and tomato quinoa and Romanian Frigănele (Savory French toast).

Ingredients (serves 2-3):
  • 300 g turkey breast
  • 100 ml cream
  • 50 g Brie, sliced
  • 50 g walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 20-30 g pink grapes (a handful), each round cut into half
  • 2 tablespoons walnut oil (or olive oil, but the walnut oil gives better flavor in this case)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Cut the turkey breast into bite-sized cubes. Season with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a medium pan and start frying them:

Move them around and stir until they're fried all over (5-6 minutes). Add the cream, the walnuts and the Brie:

Mix some more and cook until the sauce comes together (3-4 minutes). Add the halved grape rounds, mix and cook for another half a minute. Transfer to plates and dig in! :)
