Peanut butter hot chocolate milk

After taking a few sips of this, plain hot chocolate will taste too water-y and too lacking of the full mouth-feel the addition of peanut butter provides. The base is that of a good hot chocolate with a little addition of spice, sweetened with honey and beaten with the peanut butter until foamy and soft. Delicious, delicious, delicious.
Optionally, it may be topped with whipped cream but it's amazing on its own as well. I mean, we all know how well chocolate and nutty go together. Just think Nutella or our scrumptious Marliesen torte.  :)

Ingredients (makes 5   200 ml glasses or cups):
  • 4 glasses of milk (800 ml)
  • 3-4 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 25 g dark chocolate

Put the milk in a pot and turn on the lowest heat.

Get a whisk, measure the cocoa powder and add it to the milk:

Mix well until all is even. Add the cinnamon, mix again and grate the dark chocolate over the pot (or just add it if it's pre-grated):

Add the peanut butter and mix well:

In the end, add the honey and mix:

Pour in mugs and serve hot. We made more than 2 cups and downed everything because trust me, after one cup you will want more. :) Dig in!
