Pancetta & artichoke pizza

We're a lot into artichokes lately and we wanted to give this a try. We've put together some tomato paste with lots of garlic on a dough and topped it with fresh pancetta and halved artichoke hearts (oh, the drama! :D). It turned out delicious. Enjoy.

Ingredients (serves 2):
  • double pizza dough (home-made or store-bought)
  • 150 ml tomato paste
  • 100 g emmentaler
  • 125 g artichoke hearts
  • 100 g pancetta slices
  • 5 garlic cloves (or less if you don't want a strong garlic flavor)
Roll out the dough on a baking tray lined with paper. Spread the tomato paste on it:

Clean the garlic cloves and chop them in slices. Put them on top of the pizza dough and cover with the grated emmentaler:

Cover with the pancetta slices:

And then with the halved artichoke hearts:

Put it in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Take it out and dig in!
